Jake is turning 2!

Well Jake is turning 2 next month................... his birthday party is going to be held Saturday, February 16th at Mark's parents home in Hendersonville! We are flying down and my mom is going to fly in as well - we are really looking forward to seeing the kids and how much they have grown and changed. It's so hard to realize that a year ago Jenna was taking pictures of Jake with his first birthday cake - and here we are a year later and life seems to have changed so much.

Jenna would be so very proud of her kids and how strong they have been and just how amazing they continue to be. I think she would be amazed with how strong all of us have been too - with how suddenly she was gone from us - without anyone being able to say goodbye- and just all the wondering about what happens after life.................

I know she must find great comfort in Mark's parents moving there like they did to help provide stability - and all that Mom has done while she was sick and after- and how big everyone's hearts seem to have grown through the impact Jenna made on all of us..................... I know we all think more about saying I love you- about making an effort to stay connected to each other more as a way to stay connected to Jenna!

I hope I can tell Jake so many great things about his mother some day..............because some day he is going to ask. I'm sure Ashlee and Kaity will have a lot to tell him too - that he was loved so very much by his Mommy!
